- This information may be stamped on the face of the lock, or the key, or both. Sample lock descriptions are:

- These are merely a few samples, key inscriptions follow a very wide variety of patterns. The important thing for us as key manufacturers is, that you provide with as much information as possible.

- Your lock number will usually be located on the key itself. If you don't have a key anymore then it might be stamped on the lock, right where you insert the key. In other cases, the relevant information could be found in the documentation you may have been given when the lock (or masterkey system) was installed.
